A time of giving
It’s that time of year again and many of us have already had a peek at the white stuff, with hopes that we may just get a sprinkling on the big day.
We know that as much as we love this time of year, it can be a tough time for some and this year one of our chosen charities to support is The Samaritans.
The Samaritans are on hand, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. If you feel alone with your thoughts you can pick up the phone and call 116 123 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
You’ll be heard by a compassionate stranger and you don’t have to be suicidal to get in touch with them.
You or someone you know may simply need human contact when things are in a downward spiral. And to those who volunteer at this time of year, thank you.
Fortunately mental Health has been high on the agenda in 2017, with friends like Geoff McDonald championing the topic in a way that has left no room for it to be ignored. We’ll continue to support his aims and others in 2018.
So as you all prepare to give to family and friends, remember to take the time to give to yourself too.
- Make time to relax
- Rest and recharge
- If you need time out, take it
- Have FUN!
We wish you a very Merry Christmas and Health and Happiness for 2018.
